Dog Itchy Skin: Soothe Painful Itches Before They Take Over
If you’ve got a pet with itchy skin, I know you get it. There is nothing quite as heartbreaking and demoralising as watching your pet frantically...
Dr. Vanessa's journey into veterinary science was inspired by a simple yet profound desire: to see all animals healthy, safe, and happy. As she puts it, providing gold-standard care is not just a duty, but a calling.
As a 2023 graduate from the University of Melbourne, Dr. Vanessa brings with her the latest in advancements in veterinary medicine and pet care. We are excited to see that Dr. Vanessa has proven herself a great advocate for patient wellness during her time on the team.
A typical day at VetLand Hospital & Emergency for Dr. Vanessa is immersed in a variety of responsibilities. From consultations and vaccinations to more intricate procedures including wound repairs, dental treatments and caring for critical patients. Vanessa has a keen interest in small animal pain management and anaesthesia, a field that demands both precision and compassion—qualities that Dr. Vanessa possesses in spades.
We’re so proud that Dr. Vanessa is able to offer consultations in both English and her native Mandarin. We have found this to be a huge asset to many of our local pet parents.
When not at VetLand, she spends time with her own fur babies, Naicha (means Milk tea) and Naidou (means Milk bean), two adorable Domestic Shorthair cats.
